Travelers aboard the airline will soon enjoy quick connectivity in the air at no cost after a major partnership with the billionaire's satellite company.

Complimentary plus Quick Connectivity Across the Board

British Airways announced that the complimentary, “reliable and lightning-fast” connectivity provision through the satellite provider becomes offered to customers flying coach, business, or premium cabins from soon.

Widespread Rollout Over Various Carriers

The parent organization of the airline, the airline group, confirmed it had finalized an agreement involving Starlink to provide internet access on over 500 planes within the group's carriers, including Aer Lingus, Iberia, and the low-cost airline.

Seamless Internet from Gate through Landing

BA noted that this introduction of this system was part of a £7bn “modernization” plan and will deliver uninterrupted wifi coverage to flyers starting at boarding through landing, even when they are flying across seas or isolated areas.

Current Internet Options

Basic wifi service remains provided for BA passengers on nearly all of its planes via its .air system.

Members of BA’s reward scheme may dispatch communications plus text-based correspondence onboard at no cost, whereas travelers wishing to stream audio, films, and films throughout their flight if not travelling in business or first may pay between £4.99 to £21.99 for a connectivity bundle.
