The boxing legend’s son Campbell delivered an touching tribute through his first public words since his father’s passing.

“Heartbroken isn’t how I feel,” wrote his son alongside a set of personal photos.
“Those who knew us always said I looked like your double – not a truer word said. Forever admired you in every way of life.”
He went on: “It’s impossible to describe how much I’m going to miss the jokes we shared and all of the good moments, which I will remember forever. I can’t believe we won’t have more together. Forever loved, Dad.”
Area authorities reported that the boxing legend had been found in his residence situated in the Manchester area. The department stated that there were not any suspicious factors related to the incident.
Following in the footsteps of his father, Campbell once pursued a path in the ring, making his pro introductory fight in 2021. He eventually retired from the competition not long ago.
On Monday, the relatives of Hatton shared a message stating that they were “greatly comforted” by the overwhelming wave of love and kindness sent their way.
“Richard was not only than a titleholder. To us, he was only ‘Richard,’ our boy. A loving parent, elder, and sibling, and a loyal companion to countless people,” the release read.
“He had a soul as large as his grin, and his kindness, charm, and faithfulness impacted all those lucky enough to experience him.
“To the wider world, he will always be remembered as one of fighting’s most iconic figures – a man who dedicated every ounce inside the bouts and wore his emotions on his sleeve.”
